Seed of soyabean Parana was sown after treatment with 2.5 g thiram and/or 1 g streptomycin/kg seed and was irrigated immediately after sowing or 4, 8 or 12 days later. Highest emergence was given by thiram treatment and irrigation immediately after sowing. Except with irrigation at 4 days after sowing emergence was lowest for seeds treated with streptomycin.
