Mean DM yields were 12.8 t/ha in NLVS-1, 12.7 t in NLVS-2, 11.6 t in NLVS-1E, 11.2 t in Pinto Amarillo and 11.9 t in V-401 and decreased from 12.4 and 12.6 t at 60 000 and 70 000 plants/ha, resp., to 11.2 t at 80 000 plants/ha.
