Abstract
A complete feed mixture containing 65 to 70% straw was efficiently utilized, either pelleted or loose, for finishing young cattle. Average daily bodyweight gain was 742 to 1020 g and intake was 8.47 to 6.84 feed units/kg gain. Carcass yield was high and meat was of high quality.
