In trials with imazalil, 2-aminobutane, RH 2161, benomyl, thiabendazole, thiophanate-methyl and Panoctine all at 1000 p.p.m. a.i., lemons were (1) inoculated 24 h after wounding, then treated; (2) wounded and inoculated, then treated 24 h later; and (3) treated, then wounded and inoculated 24 h later. In all variants imazalil, which also inhibited sporulation, gave the best results.
