Abstract
The effects of Hinosan oryzae in pot tests are tabulated. Treatment greatly increased flower fertility and thus yield/plant but total yields of treated inoculated plants were not as high as those of untreated healthy plants. The results indicated that with mild infection, application is not warranted but where it is severe a spray of either 40 p.p.m. Topsin or 20 p.p.m. Ceresan would be beneficial.
