Abstract
Tests were made of a virus of the Densovirus (DNV) group on a non-susceptible and a highly susceptible strain of Bombyx mori (L.) by peroral infection. Tests with the susceptible and non-susceptible parent strains, their reciprocal F1 hybrids, the F2 hybrid and backcrosses with the parents demonstrated that the non-susceptibility of B. mori to DNV was inherited and controlled by a recessive gene which was not sex-linked.
