High pressure liquid chromatographic determination of satratoxins G and H in cereal grains



Journal - Association of Official Analytical Chemists 63(6): 1278-1281



The recoveries of added satratoxins G and H from wheat samples averaged 65 and 71% respectively, with a lower limit of detection of 200 mu g/kg. Analysis of maize, oats and barley samples gave comparable recoveries. The method was also used to analyse samples of maize, oats, wheat, barley and rice on which Stachybotrys atra had been cultured.
