Horse flies and deer flies of West Virginia: an illustrated key (Diptera, Tabanidae)
Tabanidae were collected intensively throughout West Virginia from 1975 to 1978. The records of these collections, together with those previously published or obtained from specimens in various private and institutiona!. collections, account for a total of 68 species and subspecies (in 9 genera) known for this state.
