Rhizoctonia solani was pathogenic to the leaves of all the test plants (Hibiscus sabdariffa, rice, maize, sorghum, Phaseolus aureus P. mungo, groundnut, soybean, cotton and tobacco) and caused post-emergence damping-off of all except Gramineae at the seedling stage.
