Sarcocystis capracanis, goats (exper.), severe myositis with numerous sarcocysts in various stages of degeneration, removal of sarcocysts by phagocytosis, suggested that large numbers of parasite in muscle stimulates cellular reaction by host resulting in destruction and removal of most of the sarcocysts
