Host-parasite relationships between molluscs and trematodes

Host-parasite relationships between molluscs and trematodes

Uspekhi Sovremennoi Biologii 86(1 (4)): 143-153

In this review, the author examines the antagonistic relationships between species of trematode parthenitae, the resistance and defense reactions of molluscs to infection and the pathogenic effect of trematodes on their molluscan hosts. The points made are illustrated with specific examples from the literature.
