Fruits of the mango cvs Oliveira-Neto, Bourbon, Brasil, Extrema, Haden and Imperial were immersed in water at 50 deg C for 30 min or at 55 deg for 10 min to control Colletotrichum gloeosporioides The treatments had no adverse effects on the fruits of any cv and gave very good control during storage at 24 deg to 26 deg for 10 days. In trials against Colletotrichum gloeosporioides fruits were immersed in water at 50 deg C for 30 min or at 55 deg for 10 min and matured at room temp.
