Current trends in predictive maintenance both during off-line and on-line conditions are discussed. Non-destructive testing methods during turn-arounds include use of remote television cameras, visual aids, dye-penetrant inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection, radiography, eddy current tests, and metallographic inspection.
