Human behavior and schistosomiasis in an Ethiopian town and an Egyptian village: Tensae Berhan and el Ayaisha

A comparative study is presented of human behaviour in an Ethiopian town and Egyptian village and the consequences for schistosomiasis occurrence in each environment. Significant behaviours revolve about water, which is needed for biological survival, personal hygiene, and the husbandry of crops and livestock.
