Humidex: a method of quantifying human discomfort due to excessive heat and humidity

Humidex: a method of quantifying human discomfort due to excessive heat and humidity

Report, Environment Canada (CLI 1-79): 45 pp

A review of the physiological reactions of the human body to atmospheric conditions of excessive heat and humidity is given, and the development of an index to measure the discomfort associated with such conditions is described.
