Humidity of combustion products from wood and gaseous fuels

Humidity of combustion products from wood and gaseous fuels

Information Report, Western Forest Products Laboratory, Canada (VP-X-182): 10

A study was made to determine whether or not dry kilns heated by wood fuels (when the combustion products are conducted into the kiln, as is now the tendency) have a similar range of humidity to those fired by fossil fuels, and whether fuel m.c. affects kiln RH. Tables show max. wet bulb temp. attainable for different drying rates.
