Hybrid vigour for yield and its components in okra



Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences 49(8): 596-601



Data on nine traits from 125 F1 hybrids of Hibiscus esculentus, derived from crosses between 25 lines and five pollen parents, revealed that the highest heterosis relative to the better parent occurred for fruit number per plant (71.46%), followed by yield per plant (70.28%).
