From a ten-parent diallel complete analysis, heterosis values were calculated for pod yield, seed yield, pods per plant, seeds per pod, pod length and 100-seed weight. The highest average heterotic effects were seen for yield and pod per plant. The least heterosis was seen for 100-seed weight. All the progenies of crosses between low and high-yielding parents exhibited heterosis over the midparental value.
