Lucerne Ramsey, Saranac and Deseret were grown at day/night temp. of 18/10 deg , 26/18 deg or 34/26 deg C. Contents of (a) total N, (b) total soluble N and (c) soluble nonprotein N increased in leaves, stems and whole plants with increase in temp. whereas the greatest content of (d) released soluble protein was at 26/18 deg.
