Influence of lug spacing on tractive performance of rigid power tiller wheels in puddled soil

Influence of lug spacing on tractive performance of rigid power tiller wheels in puddled soil

ASAE Paper (80-1030): 17 pp

Four different rigid traction wheels with lug spacings of 70, 90, 110 and 130 mm were fabricated and tested to investigate the influence of lug spacing on tractive performance of the wheels in puddled soil. Test runs were made at normal loads of 491, 736 and 981 N.
