Influence of nitrogen and potash fertilization on tuber yield and starch production in cassava varieties

Application of 0-150 kg N + 75 kg P2O5 + 0-300 kg K2O/ha to irrigated cassava Burma and hybrid H-165 gave av. yields of 37.22-37.39 t tubers and 6.19-6.32 t starch/ha. Starch content in tubers was not affected by applied N but was increased by applied K; the difference between K rates was not significant.
