Influence of tebuthiuron on forage quality of selected grasses - preliminary evaluations

Following application of tebuthiuron to mesquite (Prosopis glandulosa var. glandulosa) infested rangeland, enhanced forage quality was noted. Herbaceous plants treated with tebuthiuron were selected by domestic livestock in preference to those not treated. Treated herbaceous plants were often greener, more vigorous and more productive.
