A study of the F1, F2, BC1 and BC2 generations from the crosses Atlas 66 X Kalyan Sona and Atlas 66 X WL212 indicated that additive genes controlled number of grains per ear, while additive, dominance and epistatic effects were important for grain size, protein content and grain yield.
