In experiments extending over three years, on a sandy soil, with five rates of fertilizer application ranging from N40P40K60 to N200P200K300 kg/ha, all varieties showed the capacity to increase their yields in response to the lower NPK doses but only in Sowa did this response continue up to the highest dose.
