LH-RH treatment for postpartum anoestrous conditions in Gir cows

LH-RH treatment for postpartum anoestrous conditions in Gir cows

Indian Veterinary Journal 58(6): 487-489

Twenty cows with anoestrus which had lasted for up to 4 months after calving were injected s/c with between 50 and 500 mu g gonadorelin (LH-RH) during the "low breeding season" (July-December). 17 came into oestrus, about 25-30 days after treatment, and 15 became pregnant.
