Methods of farm income calculations

Methods of farm income calculations

Gazdalkodas 26(4): 43-47

Different methods of income calculation present obvious difficulties for comparative analysis. This paper describes the approach followed by the Farm Management Department at Keszthely Agricultural University in determining the income of 55 farms in the South Transdanubian region over a period of 20 years. Three methods of income calculations are proposed, whose results indicate an average income which is 50% lower than that of any previous study.
