4 monoclonal antibodies against human milk fat globule membrane (see preceding abstr.) were used to stain a range of human primary and metastatic mammary carcinomas. Staining was compared with that using a conventional heteroantiserum or peanut agglutinin. It was concluded that the monoclonal antibodies had advantages over the other 2 reagents studied.
