New 'Heather Cream' liqueur provides a valuable market for fresh cream

SMMB Milk Bulletin (Jan.): 14

A new Scottish liqueur made from malt whisky and dairy cream was launched in Nov. 1980 at the 9th Salon International de l'Alimentation in Paris. Initial production of Heather Cream Liqueur, by Inver House Distillers Ltd, Airdrie, UK is expected to require 600 gal of cream/wk with a capacity for using up to 75 000 gal/yr.
