Pathogenicity of various species of fungi of the genus Aschersonia to larvae of the greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum Westw.) on tomatoes and cucumbers

The pathogenicity of 11 species and accessions of fungi of the genus Aschersonia to larvae of Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westw.) on tomatoes and cucumbers was investigated in the laboratory in Bulgaria. The infection rate of the larvae varied from 59 to 74% on tomato and from 62 to 85% on cucumber. No correlation was observed between sporulation rate and pathogenicity of any of the fungus species.
