Herbage seed production: 64-67



Research on the effect of management on white clover seed production is reviewed. It was concluded that under current sowing practices in Canterbury closing in mid-Nov. gave opt. yields under irrigation with an opt. harvest date in late Jan./early Feb. Light grazing or topping prior to closing was recommended.
