Research into the inheritance of some quantitative characters in lentils

Correlation coefficients were calculated from data recorded on height, number of branches, pods and seeds per plant and weight of seeds/plant in six varieties observed under cultivation in small plots in 1977 and by path coefficient analysis the contribution of each of these characters to seed yield was estimated. The only strong correlation was that between the number and the weight of seeds per plant.
