Results are given of laboratory experiments in Romania to determine the time of onset of the development of resistance to trichlorphon by Musca domestica L. and also the metatoxic action of this compound, which is defined as its effect on the fertility of the generations following the treated generation. Resistance began to develop in the first generation after the treated one and was particularly marked after the F7-F9 generations.
