Research note on interspecific desi cotton hybrids

Cotton Development 10(3/4): 21-22

The new Gossypium herbaceum X G. arboreum hybrids NDH-25 and NDH-26 gave seed cotton yields of 1.23 and 0.8 t/ha, resp., and outyielded the best standard Mahanandi by 178 and 132% and their midparental values by 186 and 166%, resp.
