Research on Picholine Marocaine micropropagation

Research on Picholine Marocaine micropropagation

Olea (June): 45-56

Shoot development occurred after 2-3 weeks in 2-3 cm long explants from 1-year-old shoots of adult olive trees, Picholine Marocaine, and from apical parts of juvenile plants cultured on half-strength Knop medium (containing 30 g/l sucrose) + Heller micronutrients. Callus proliferation occurred at the bases of explants cultured in the above medium with 1-16 mg/l NAA + 1-4 mg/l BA.
