Research on primary health care: a multidisciplinary project in Ghana

In 1976-77 the Health Group of the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, undertook a research project in Ghana in collaboration with the country's Ministry of Health and the University of Ghana. The project was in support of the ministry's policy of remodelling its rural health services to make them more responsive, qualitatively and quantitatively, to the needs of the people.
