Researchers explain jojoba propagation

Researchers explain jojoba propagation

Petroculture 2(1): 6-7

Experiments with cuttings from three jojoba plants revealed that rooting potential was enhanced during the active growing season (February through October). During this period, rooting was significantly increased by treating cuttings with auxin followed by 1 5-second immersion in 4000 ppm indolebutyric acid in ethanol. Auxin treatment during the winter months failed to promote root growth.
