Residual effect of monosodium methane arsenate on soyabean, groundnut and maize



Journal of the Rubber Research Institute Malaysia 29(1): 24-33



Soybean, groundnut and maize were sown in soil samples taken from rubber plantations that had received repeated band treatments of MSMA + 2,4-D at 0.66-1.3 kg/ha actual area sprayed. Arsenic in soil and plant material was extracted with sulphuric/perchloric acid digestion and perchloric/nitric acid digestion, respectively, and determined by hydrazine sulphate distillation.
