Residual herbicide (simazine) levels in soil and lavender leaves

Following two annual treatments of 2.3 or 5.0 kg simazine/ha, residual herbicide was detected both in Karlovo lavender plants, especially in the leaves, and in the soil (humus-poor cinnamonic forest soil).
