Residue analysis of chlorinated hydrocarbons in human bone marrow using high-resolution gas chromatography with electron-capture detector (ECD)

The estimation of chlorinated hydrocarbons is described. Mean values in extracted lipid of human bone marrow were alpha -, beta - and gamma -hexachlorocyclohexane 0.02, 1.3 and 0.01, hexachlorobenzene 2.6, 4,4'-DDT 0.4, 4,4'-DDE 8.4 and total polychlorinated biphenyls 6.4 mu g/g. Values corresponded to those for human adipose tissue.
