Residues of carbofuran in rice plants and its toxicity to brown plant hopper



Entomon 5(1): 59-60



A field experiment was carried out in Vellayani, India, to determine the persistence of a granular formulation of carbofuran applied at a rate of 0.54 kg a.i./ha at various growth stages of rice plants. The results showed that there was no significant difference in persistence of the compound when the crop was treated at different stages.
