Residues of certain newer insecticides in brinjal

Pesticides 14(11): 15-17

Residues of phosalone, quinalphos, methyl parathion and fenitrothion were studied in brinjal for 10 days after the application of insecticide. The half life and ttol [tolerance limit] values were worked out and based on these values; a waiting period of 7.14 days for methyl parathion, 3.30 for fenitrothion, 2.94 of quinalphos and 1.55 days for phosalone were suggested for safe consumption.
