Residues of dimethoate in the nectar of apple flowers

Residues of dimethoate in the nectar of apple flowers

Resume des Recherches, Station de Recherches, Saint Jean, Quebec 9: 32-33

Apple trees in Quebec were treated with dimethoate in sprays at 4.25 litres/ha against the tarnished plant bug (Lygus lineolaris (P. de B.)), in one plot at the half-inch green stage and in another at the pink tip. From each plot 2 samples of flowers were collected 24 h apart, and the nectar was analysed for residues.
