Residues of insecticides in safflower seed



Pesticides 15(3): 12-13



At Dharwad in India, 8 insecticides in dust and spray formulations were screened both for their effectiveness against Uroleucon compositae (Theo.) (Dactynotus compositae) and for their residues left in the seeds of treated safflower plants after harvest in 1978. All of the compounds proved effective against the aphid, and all left residues below the tolerance limit.
