Resinosis of Vitex keniensis Turril (Meru oak) in Mt. Kenya forest area

Resinosis of Vitex keniensis Turril (Meru oak) in Mt. Kenya forest area

East African Agricultural and Forestry Journal 1981; 43(4): 411-414

Results of a survey showed that resinosis was caused by Armillaria mellea and decay was accelerated by Trichoderma sp. It was concluded that the loss of V. keniensis due to A. mellea was not a threat to the establishment of the species.
