On screening 1555 and 205 specimens of a world collection against natural and artificial infection, respectively, by Erysiphe graminis f.sp. tritici, complete or high resistance was found in diploid spp. with genomes S (A. speltoides, A. aucheri, A. bicornis, A. longissima, A. sharonensis), M (A. comosa, A. heldreichii) and Mt (A. mutica).
