Resistance of Arachis hypogaea and wild relatives to Cercospora arachidicola Hori

In a field trial of 15 cultivars with resistance to C. arachidicola (Mycosphaerella arachidis) and eight diploid wild species of Arachis, the wild species were less diseased than the cultivars, the collections designated GKP10602 and HLK410 showing greatest resistance. Among the cultivated lines, the area of diseased tissue was least in NC3033 and PI109839.
