Resistance of Brassica to Delia species: antibiosis and tolerance

Resistance of Brassica to Delia species: antibiosis and tolerance

Nauka sel' skomu khozyaistvu: 42-44

In plants artificially infested in the field with D. brassicae larvae of the first instar, the duration of larva development, the percentage of pupation and pupa weight differed according to the host material used. Larva development was longest and pupation percentage and pupa weight were lowest in the red cabbage Haco 741. Chinese cabbage and cauliflower varieties were the most susceptible to infestation.
