Of 700 cvs. screened against strong natural infection by powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) Avrora, Antonovka Kamenchika, Gigante Anna, Kekhura, Kitaika Zolotaya Rannyaya, Krasnoe Krupnoe, Red Riesling, Raduga, Uralets, Chils Crimson and late-flowering Taftyanoe were resistant.
