Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya 15(5): 796-797

In experiments with 2 cvs. varying in susceptibility to Phoma rostrupii (Leptosphaeria libanotis) the phenol content, phenylalanine-ammonialyase activity and protein in content in necrotic tissues of inoculated roots were always higher than in tissues of healthy carrot, reaching a max. 15-20 days after inoculation.
