Resistance of durum wheat cultivars to black point caused by Alternaria alternata

Resistance of durum wheat cultivars to black point caused by Alternaria alternata

Australian Journal of Agricultural Research 31(6): 1097-1101

Field tests of a total of at least 14 varieties in three localities revealed a wide range of natural infection. The most resistant varieties were Wandell, Wascana and AUS15350. These varieties and TAM12C were as resistant as Triticum aestivum 'Timgalen'. The cvs. tested in field trials in northern NSW showed a wide range of infection levels.
